Grab That App – AutoGravity

Wondering what apps to grab this month? If you’re in the market for a new car, AutoGravity has got to find its way to your phone.

If you're shopping for a new car make sure you grab the AutoGravity app which helps you shop and apply for financing before you hit the dealership.

I’ve got great news for you. You no longer have to dread the car buying experience and those hours you spend sweating bullets when it comes to financing your car.

AutoGravity is one of the most innovative apps I’ve found that allows you to shop for your car at local dealers and apply for financing, all while sitting on your couch eating Bon Bons (do people still eat those).

On This Podcast Episode:

  • I chat with Serge over at AutoGravity about why this app should be on your download list
  • Find out the easy process to apply for financing with the AutoGravity app
  • Why getting 4 financing offers is better than 1
  • How the power of social sharing is building a better AutoGravity

How to File Your Taxes for Free

File Your Taxes for Free

It’s that time of year again when we all have to start collecting our W-2’s and 1099’s for tax time. This year we have until April 18th (normally the 15th) to file our taxes or file an extension if you need one. Just a reminder that filing an extension doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay any tax that you owe now – it just means that you don’t have to complete your return until October.

It's tax time - here's a couple of great resources for millennials to take care of your taxes without draining your bank account.

Filing your taxes has gotten easier and easier the last few years. I’m sure you’ve see the endless commercials from H&R Block recently (I mean, I like seeing Jon Hamm again…). There are some great options now to file your taxes for free online – fast and easy.

Where to File For Free

Two places I recommend are TurboTax with their Absolutezero program, and my new favorite, Credit Karma Tax. In this podcast episode, I’m dishing about each option and what I like (and don’t like) about each of them.

When you’re getting ready to file, make sure you have all your tax documents with you. Create a little checklist so you can make sure you don’t miss any forms.  Tax time doesn’t have to be frustrating either. Make it into a fun night with pizza and a great glass of wine. With these two oline filing programs you can have your taxes done before you can finish the pizza (or you get too full to finish).

Goals Are Great…You Need a Freakin’ System

financial goalsGoals are fantastic.

They are the backbone to your budget and provide the GPS system for your financial future.

The problem is that most people set financial goals and never achieve them..and wonder why they can never get ahead financially.

It’s because you need a freakin’ system for success!

You would never set out to run a marathon without a game plan in place. You don’t just magically run 26.2 miles (and survive). You need to know when to train, how much to train and so on. Your goal is the date you will run the race, but the game plan (system) is all of the details for how you are going to achieve that goal.

2016 is the perfect time to get your goals together and create a system to achieve each one of them.

*If you want to travel…great… you need a system.
*If you want to pay off debt…great…you need a system.
*If you want to buy a house…great…you need a system.
*If you want to move abroad…great…you need a system.
Take a listen to this podcast where I talk about how to get your system in place so 2016 will be your best financial year yet!
