Would you change your job, your career or even the place you’ve always called home for your faith? That’s exactly what soulful singer/songwriter Alex Clare has established in his career. After converting to Orthodox Judaism a few years back, Clare brought his faith to his current home in Israel. Yet, he continues adding to his growing fan base with each new album and tour.
A few years back and at the height of his career, Clare was dropped by his first record label, the legendary Island Records due to a demanding promotional and tour schedules that conflicted with Jewish holidays. Now Alex Clare is back with a stellar new album and upcoming North American tour that launches in November.
On This Podcast Episode:
Join us for a very special conversation with singer/songwriter Alex Clare all the way from Isreal, as we talked about his new album, Tail of Lions, writing and recording the album on a boat and the state of racism in the world.
(The audio is a bit rough on this one as the connection to Isreal wasn’t too fantastic, but hopefully, you still enjoy Alex and his awesome story.)
My co-host for the podcast is my husband, Jeff Game, a travel, and music journalist that’s always on the hunt for a good story to tell.
