Phoenix – the city – not the French pop band, may not pop into your brain when you think of the next up-and-coming music metropolis. Phoenix-based The Technicolors are looking to change that perception of the Valley of the Sun as they launch their latest LP, Metaphysical, that dropped July 7th.

Known for their amped up live shows, the band nicely blend sonic pop anthems of Oasis, vocal stylings of the Killers, with the grit of early Rolling Stones, while still sounding innovative and modern. With this strong collection of songs on Metaphysical, this might just be the Technicolors breakout album and a band to watch in 2017.

On This Podcast Episode:

Ahead of their album release, frontman Brennan Smiley talked with us about new LP; how each of the band members parents love of Led Zeppelin influenced them starting the group and which band they’d like to swap careers.
